Demetra Investment Public Ltd ('Demetra') is a Cyprus based closed-end, internally managed, investment fund that manages investments across multiple asset classes including capital markets, real estate and private equity.

​Demetra was incorporated in 1999 and since then has been the largest investment company listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange.  It is listed on the Main Market of the Cyprus Stock Exchange and is a member of the FTSE/CySE20 index.

Demetra has the widest shareholder base than any other company in Cyprus, as it is estimated that 1 in 4 Cypriots hold shares of Demetra Investment Public Limited, with the total number of shareholders exceeding 150,000.​

The largest stakeholder and founder of Demetra Investment Public Limited is the Cooperative Central Bank, holding about 20% of the share capital of the Company.  The second largest shareholder of the Company, with a 7.42% stake, is Logicom Services Ltd as 100% subsidiary of Logicom Public Ltd the largest IT Company based in Cyprus, operating in 18 countries in Europe and the Middle East.  Bank of Cyprus Public Company Limited​, the l​​​argest banking institution on the island is the third largest shareholder of the Company with a stake of 3.69%.​​

Demetra is categorised as a Self-Managed Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) authorised by the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission under Law 131(I)/2014 regulating the Alternative Investment Funds.
